Adidas Originals by White Mountaineering show at Pitti Uomo FW16 was on point

Adidas Originals‘s latest collaborative collection was revealed to be none other than, Yosuke Aizawa’s label, White Mountaineering. Presented during the 89th installment of Pitti Uomo, the Japanese designer, formerly of Junya Watanabe, brought into the collection his brand’s mission of incorporating sportswear-inspired utility with contemporary urban style.

Merged with the iconographic three stripes, trefoil and triangular logo of the German sportswear brand, the result was an assimilation of signs in various angles across a range of familiar adidas silhouettes including tracksuit jackets, pants and tights. Noteworthy details include army green-hued paneling on outerwear, a subtle nod to Aizawa’s military inspiration from previous seasons. Check out the runway presentation for yourself and look for its debut in August.
