For those that are unfamiliar with Sparrow Sleeps, the project started in October of 2013 with the birth of Sparrow Lucille Cole; 8 pounds 6 ounces of beauty born to a pop-punk dad Casey that had grown soft in his old age.
After two weeks of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” on repeat, he took to the internet to find that there were a couple of modern lullaby options, but he couldn’t find anything that he grew up listening to.
So, he created an album of Saves the Day lullabies to listen to while rocking Sparrow to sleep. And they worked. Sparrow was falling asleep faster than their “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” days, and he found himself rocking her well after she fell asleep because he was familiar with the music that they were now both enjoying... together.
